About "In The Spotlight"

In The Spotlight is devoted to helping Antique, Collectible, Art and related websites gain more exposure. Our main site Antique Trails has been on-line since 1996. Since that time we have met many wonderful artists and we are pleased to be affiliated with quality antique and auction sites. The concept for developing an on-line magazine began well over a year ago. Originally called "The Tattler", it was different domain site. Do to many personal set backs over the last year it was decided to discontinue the magazine. However, brought back by popular demand we have incorporated the magazine as part of Antique Trails and changed the name. Thus so.......we begin again!!

We apologize if we appear a little "graphic heavy". We can not in good conscience reduce the beauty of an artist's work or the antiques sites we are featuring to thumbnail views. Our advice is to sit back, relax, grab a cup of coffee (or what ever) and enjoy! Our personal opinion is that not everything has to load in under thirty seconds.

Our "Spotlight" featured sites are picked for quality and content. We do not charge a fee for featuring a site. We realize that you have probably spent a considerable amount of time building your site, registering it and linking to others, only to find that you are one of a zillion other sites trying to establish a name for yourself in an ever growing market. If you are a large company, then advertising is part of your budget plan. However, if you are a small business site like ours, an advertising budget is probably at the bottom of your list, right next to that big $- 0.

Throughout the year our viewers will be voting for their favorite featured Art and Antique websites that will receive our "Best On The Web" award.

Antique and Art websites that have already been featured and are currently listed in our Archives have enjoyed the boost in traffic and our readers have enjoyed learning about these great Antique and Art websites.

We hope in the future to add other Editors to the magazine. Guest articles are also encouraged, with full credit and links to your website given.
