"La Belle Dame Sans Merci"

We begin our Pre-Raphaelites Artwalk with one of my favorite artworks, called "La Belle Dame Sans Merci, by Frank Cadogan Cowper, 1877 ~ 1958. Working well into the 20th century, Cowper can be considered the last of the Pre-Raphaelite Artists. While only a random gathering of some of art from that period, all follow the infamous theme of "Love and Tragedy".
