With so many auction websites springing up all over the Internet, resource websites to help manage your auctions have become a valuable service....

Whether you are auctioning quantities of items or just a few here and there these websites have the tools to pre-format your auctions, add page counters, host photos, create notices and invoices, saving you time and helping you keep track of the items you are buying and selling.

Many of these websites have templates and backgrounds you can use to spiff up your auction listings and counter styles to match the general feel of the items you are selling. Oh, and did I mention the best part? All of the websites that offer these services are free!!

Another important feature to these websites are the community chat discussion boards, articles of interest to the auction community and in some cases help with identifying items.

For instance, I recently saw some items on a popular auction site listed as "Rare Blue Vaseline Glass." Well, if you are fairly knowledgeable about early glassware you would know that truly old vaseline glass was never made in blue! It looks just like the name implies. However, if you are unsure, using a community chat board to determine if this was a reproduction would most likely give you an answer in time for you to not make a costly mistake by bidding on the item in question.
