Becky's Wildlife & Fantasy Art

Artist Rebecca Kemp, as a young girl always loved science and nature. Growing up with pets she discovered how much you can learn from them. She also always loved space, and studied the stars and planets. Learning about constellations and the mythological stories behind them and how they pertained to animals was when her love for fantasy and wildlife bloomed. Her fascination with the universe and nature helped her combine the two into her unique style of original paintings and prints.

Raised with an artistic heritage, she was encouraged by her family at a young age to paint and draw. Practical considerations had to be made though when it was time for college. Becky's parents certainly haven't been the first to declare "You can't make any money from Fine Arts!", and so a scholarship to Massachusetts Art in Boston was turned down. Instead Becky went to Fitchburg State as a psychology major, later switching to graphic design. Finding that a bit too technical she switched again, transferring to the U. Mass Lowell and took Fine Art. That's when the money ran out. Six years of college with no degree, doesn't appear to have effected her artistic abibities.

Becky's Wildlife and Fantasy Art website is a delightful blend showing off her original art works as well as offering original notecards, t-shirts and other gifts. An ambitious lady, Becky offers web design, features many links to other artists and resources and offers a full range of services. Her unique style and representation of wildlife and fantasy art, her choice of vivid colors and expression is sure to capture your interest. Taking a click on the "wildside", surf on over to:
